In Nykirke
History:
Nyker stone consists of two fragments.
The first part (foot) were known in 1842 and rediscovered in 1865 in a hatch in the church tower disguised to masonry.
In 1869 it was taken out and placed on the arms store floor.
The top was found in 1859 in slabs in the kitchen at the nearby Bjørnegård.
Probably has the originally sat in the cemetery wall, but by breaking down some of this in 1853, it was presumably sold together with other stones.
Now the pieces together and placed under house weapons.
Description:
Gray sandstone, the runes appear brighter than the surface.
Height 37.60 in (foot) 33,07 in (top).
The inscription reads: "Lo ... let this stone rise after her son Sven --
the very good boy. . .- And (after) his brother.
The sacred Christian assists the two brother’s souls ".

Stone is marked with a cross section surrounded by a hose ties with head and tail, there are bound together with a cringle knot.
